Easey Street - Round 2
Some more progress shots of the Easey Street mural/sign thing that I've been doing. They have a big taxidermied marlin above their main desk so I painted one on the wall. I've also started adding some palm leaves behind the fake tiki bar. I basically just ripped them off that old Natas graphic with the panther on it. Jim Phillips is a genius. I'll be adding a lot more to this mural as I get the time. Its been fun so far.

Easey Street Tiki Pole
Here are some more progress pictures of the Easey Street Agencies mural that I started a while ago. Most of the recent work was spent turning the fire hose box into a bambooish looking tiki bar type thing. I also turned the water pipe that feeds into it into a tiki totem pole with a skateboard at the top. Its been fun, I've had lots people come and hang out while I work on it and drink beers with me. Fun summer. See if you can find the Wu Tang logo.... its like a game of Where's Wu Tang.

Breakfast Club Sign
Here are some pictures of a sign that I painted on the front of The Breakfast Club in December, 2010.
Day one was spent preparing the wall so I didn't bother taking photos of that. Here is the end of day 2. I should mention that in most cases I was only working in the afternoon, usually for around 4 to 6 hours, sometimes longer depending on the weather.
Day 3 Street View
Day 4
Day 4 from the street
Day 5
Day 6 Mavie came to help
Still Day 6 Mavie tidied up all the paint spills and dirty marks for me and by the end of the day it looked like this
Day 7
Day 8 - I've added some black leaves and started to darken the colour of the ribbons at katie's request
Then I added this skull which is part of the original logo for the cafe
The finished sign
